On August 31, 2011, Dr. James Lee, Lee World CEO, was invited to attend the " Philippines-China Economic ＆Trade Forum " at China World Hotel. He served as the only Chinese public-private partnership forum guest speaker.

This is Aquinos first visit to China since his presidency and he brought largest group of Philippines business people to China since the two countries established diplomatic relations.

Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan, Philippine President Aquino, and other government officials and business men, totaling more than 500 people attended the forum from the Philippines and China respectively.
