On Sept. 27^th , “Huanben Characteristic Town Seminar, the 480^th phase of Huaben Entrepreneurs Gathering” was held in Tianhong Land, the Council Member of Huaben Entrepreneurs Club. The Dean of Zhongxin Urbanization Research Institute Yuan Kaihong, who is also one of the members of Huaben Entrepreneurs Club, the Chairman of Lee World Group Dr. Lee, the Deputy Mayor of Penglai City Sun Chuanwu and the like attended the seminar.

Up to this August, the number of Characteristic Town, since being proposed in 2014 has reached 400. Pushed by government policy, this craze has been sweeping over China, however, how to build a successful characteristic town became the focus of the government and entrepreneurs as well. After the success of “The First International Characteristic Town Forum”, Huaben entrepreneurs once again organized Characteristic Town forum series with the purpose of providing more guidance and cooperation opportunities for entrepreneurs.

Dr. Lee shared his ideas on Characteristic Town during the forum. He stressed that local governments probably think highly of GDP, while entrepreneurs put the payback time in the first priority when it comes to investment in Characteristic Town. Existing policies on land usage are disadvantageous to entrepreneurs on building Characteristic Town, therefore, the project actually comes with great risks.

During the seminar, all entrepreneurs made in-depth analysis on construction and future development of Characteristic Town. The interaction among government leaders, entrepreneurs and experts lead to a number of great ideas.
