On December 19, 2014, Dominican Republic second largest city Santiago Mayor Gilberto Serulle warmly hosts Lee World Holdings Chairman Dr. James Lee. Santiago produces the top Cigars in the world, and is home of eleven of the top brands of Cigars. Santiago is often called the “City of Cigars”. It is second only to Cuba in production and quality of tobacco. Dr. Lee and Mayor Serulle explored possibility of establishing sister city relationship between a Chinese city and Santiago. The Mayor expressed great interest for this and this meeting formed a good foundation for future cooperations.
